It aims to encourage the exchange of ideas, thought and investigation around two fields deemed vital for people’s development: education and communication. For researchers and professionals in journalism and in all levels of education, the journal provides a platform for promoting communication and education as nerve centres of democracy, the consolidation of citizenship and intellectual and cultural progress. Media literacy is, therefore, the focal point of «Comunicar».
