Viator, the Center for Medieval & Renaissance Studies at UCLA's scholarly journal, now in its thirty-ninth year, publishes articles of distinction in any field of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, viewed broadly as the period between late antiquity and the mid-seventeenth century. In keeping with its title, the journal gives special consideration to articles that cross frontiers: articles that focus on meetings between cultures, that pursue an idea through the centuries, that employ the methods of different disciplines simultaneously. New Medieval Literatures is an annual work on medieval textual cultures. Its scope is inclusive of work across the theoretical, archival, philological, and historicist methodologies associated with medieval literary studies. The title announces an interest both in new writing about medieval culture and in new academic writing. As well as featuring challenging new articles, each issue includes an analytical survey by a leading international medievalist of recent work in an emerging or dominant critical discourse. All articles are written in English.

Mediaeval Studies is the annual journal published by the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies. It was established in 1939 and from the outset its purpose has been the publication of research on the Middle Ages by scholars throughout the world, particularly research involving unedited manuscript and archival material. Most volumes are divided into three sections: Texts includes extensive editions with substantial introductions; Articles includes studies based on unedited or edited documents and texts and also includes studies of other monuments of medieval culture; Mediaevalia consists of notices or short articles on specific documents or topics. Troianalexandrina - Journal on medieval literature containing classical material

Troianalexandrina publishes papers on European Medieval texts dealing with classical material such as the Trojan matter, Alexander the Great, classical literature and mythology in the Middle Ages. European Medieval Drama

European Medieval Drama is an international project which seeks to promote the study of medieval drama in its performance aspect, to develop the study of drama in languages other than English and to set English drama in its European context. The journal also includes: translations into modern English of medieval plays in other languages, notices relevant to members of SITM, and information of interest to all scholars in the field of medieval drama (e.g. recently-published books, forthcoming conferences, and occasional book-reviews). The Advisory Board is made up of 12 - 15 distinguished scholars, chosen to represent the full range of specialisms with the general field of medieval drama.

Nottingham Medieval Studies

Nottingham Medieval Studies was first issued in 1957 and published its 50th volume in 2006. It was and remains an interdisciplinary journal for studies of European history and literature from Late Antiquity through to the Reformation. The journal also features articles in related fields such as archaeology, art history, linguistics, musicology and philosophy. Nottingham Medieval Studies is published as a single annual volume. Starting with volume LIV (2010) Nottingham Medieval Studies is published by Brepols, with Dr Julia Barrow as editor and Dr Joanna Martin as deputy editor. Contributions on all aspects of medieval studies are welcome.
