The Mediaeval Journal is a distinctively European-based cross-disciplinary and multinational journal of Mediaeval Studies published in English in both print and online formats. Featuring the work of specialists in all areas of Mediaeval Studies, it offers wide disciplinary coverage in every issue and welcomes submissions from the worldwide community of mediaevalists in traditional disciplines such as Art History, History, Archaeology, Theology, European Languages/Literatures (including English), as well as burgeoning areas such as Islamic Studies, Jewish Studies, Manuscript Studies, Mediaevalisms, Material Culture, History of Medicine and Science, History of Ideas, Queer Studies, Postcolonial Studies, and Musicology, to name a few. Each issue of The Mediaeval Journal also contains timely and expert reviews responding to the variety and energy of scholarship across the world of Mediaeval Studies.

Nottingham Medieval Studies was first issued in 1957 and published its 50th volume in 2006. It was and remains an interdisciplinary journal for studies of European history and literature from Late Antiquity through to the Reformation. The journal also features articles in related fields such as archaeology, art history, linguistics, musicology and philosophy. Nottingham Medieval Studies is published as a single annual volume. Starting with volume LIV (2010) Nottingham Medieval Studies is published by Brepols, with Dr Julia Barrow as editor and Dr Joanna Martin as deputy editor. Contributions on all aspects of medieval studies are welcome.

The Journal of the Alamire Foundation provides a critical forum for the most recent and outstanding research on music in or related to the Low Countries up to the end of the Ancien Régime. It appears twice yearly. Each issue consists of three sections. The first focuses on a specific theme, the second contains free papers applying the full range of musicological approaches on any relevant topic. The third section fulfils the Foundation’s mission of promoting dialogue between the worlds of performance and scholarship by offering discussion of a recent performance event, production, edition, book, or issue.
