Studia Phaenomenologica 90 followers The journal Studia Phaenomenologica reached its tenth year of existence. During this decade 17 volumes have been published including 14 regular and three special issues (a homage volume and two volumes of proceedings). The volumes in print between 2001 and 2010 have added up to more than 6700 pages, comprising of not less than 307 articles, of which 81 in English, 125 in French and 81 in German. On average, authors from 7-8 countries contributed to each volume. In terms of topics, along with a "Varia" section, each issue has been articulated around a central theme, which often focuses on a thematic intersection, such as the relationship between the Brentanian school and Husserlian phenomenology (2003), phenomenology and literature (2008), or phenomenology and psychology (this year's issue). But, most often, the central theme targeted prominent people in the history of phenomenology. Three issues were dedicated to Martin Heidegger (Heidegger and Theology-2001, The Early Heidegger-2001, Translating Heidegger's "Sein und Zeit"-2005). Two other volumes came out to celebrate the centenary of two great contemporary phenomenologists: Emmanuel Lévinas (2006) and Jan Pato?ka (2007). Other themes have thematically focused on the work of key authors of French phenomenology, such as Maurice Merleau-Ponty (2003) or Michel Henry (2009).
Goddess Thealogy: An International Journal for the Studyof Religion and Feminism 70 followers Goddess Thealogy: An International Journal for the Study of Feminism and Religion is a leading international journal that provides the forum for critical exploration and cultivation of Sacred Feminine scholarship as it relates to feminist thealogy, feminist deasophy, and feminist praxis. Goddess Thealogy is interdisciplinary in that it encourages the wide range of diverse thealogical and deasophical methods, engagement with the full spectrum of feminist theories and methodologies, and interaction with the social sciences, social theory, philosophy, critical theory, the arts, and the humanities. Whilst academic in its orientation, the journal is intended to be accessible to a broad spectrum of readers, whether theologically trained or not. Its discussion of contemporary issues and past concerns as they relate to the traditions of the Goddess is not narrowly scholastic, but sets those concerns in a practical perspective. We encourage all kinds of thealogical and deasophical exploration including articles that contain pictures and art.
